This design of PTB brace is basically used for deloading the direct weight on foot when it is advised not to do so. It transfer the body weight via patellar tendon to ground through shells of PTB orthosis. This comes generally in bivalve design, which encompasses the foot, ankle covering up to mid patella anteriorly.
INDICATIONS:
• Tibial Fracture
• Fracture in any bone in foot(Tarsals)
• Severe ulcer over Foot
• Charcot ankle
• Arthritic ankle join
